Join AquaJets Swim Club TODAY
Since 1973, KAJ has developed
swimmers from age 5 and up. KAJ swimmers have represented Canada
with medal performances at Canadian Nationals, as well as
representing the community at the Provincial and Regional
Championships, and local swim meets. As a "not for profit club",
KAJ is very fortunate to be able to provide nationally certified
coaches to work with its swimmers. We offer programs at both
the H2O (all age groups) and the Family Y (Junior and Blue
Jets).
If your child enjoys the water and is interested in swimming, then
the KAJ Swim Club may be the place for him/her. If you would like
to join the KAJ, click on the Registration page to learn more. If
you have any questions, or would like to schedule an individual
swimming assessment, send an e-mail to registrar@kelownaaquajets.com. All new swimmers
will be assessed prior to joining the program (Junior Jet swimmers
will be assessed the first week of swimming).

NEW – AquaJets Junior Jet
program at the Family Y in Rutland will be running another
session from the week of March 25th to the week of
June 10th. The session is $200.00 for 12 weeks
– two times per week (M-W or T-TH). New AquaJet members
starting this Spring session will receive $100 in savings when they
join the club. The savings consist of a KAJ team swim cap and
t-shirt, racing goggles, waived KAJ Family Fee and a reduced price
on the Swim BC fees. Returning session swimmers (from the Winter
session) will pay the flat $200. Email our registrar for

How
do I join?
Registration is ongoing. Follow the steps
below!
Step
1 - Please email registrar@kelownaaquajets.com to schedule a swimmer assessment. Assements are
scheduled on the Tuesday and Wednesday falling on the third week of
each month.
Please note – swimmers participating in the new Junior Jet
program (Jan-March) at the Family Y do not require a swim
assessment in advance – you will be assessed in the first
week of your program.
Step 2
- Take a moment to review
information on the club and programs available on our website. We
have a KAJ Team Manual online that covers our policies, financials
and information on fundraising and volunteering. An overview
of our age group programs and the pool schedules is available under
the Programs tab.
Step 3

For Blue, Red and Gold Jets - After
the swimmer assessment, fill out the Online Registration. For help,
please contact registrar@kelownaaquajets.com. Junior Jets
registering for the H2O may register online, Junior Jets
registering for the NEW sessional program at the Family Y must
contact our registrar.
Cancellation of Swim
Membership
It is the parent or guardian's responsibility to notify the Club
of a swimmer withdrawal. Swim cancellations must be received by the
15th of the month to avoid being charged for the next month. This 2
week notice is required as monthly swim fees are set up to come out
automatically each month and require 2 weeks to change at the bank.
The parent or guardian is to notify the registrar at registrar@kelownaaquajets.com.
If you do not have email access, please leave a message for
the Registrar at 250-769-1322. Phone withdrawal messages will be
confirmed by the registrar, either by email or by written form.
Please note that only the Registrar can accept membership
cancellations.
Remember, even if you withdraw from the swim club before the end
of the season you may still have volunteer or fundraising
commitments to fulfill.
